4 Free Things To Do In Chicago This Fall

1.) Sing-A-Longs At Whole Foods Market


Do your kids love sing-a-longs? Every Wednesday and Thursday, from 10AM-10:30 AM the Whole Foods in Lincoln Park teams up with Bubbles Academy to host a children's concert near their front door. What a fun way to start/end your shopping and a great way for your kids to meet new friends!

2.) FREE Dates at the Museum of Science and Industry


Whether you go with kids or a group of adults who are kids at heart, a trip to the Museum of Science and Industry is always a blast! They always have a few free fall dates during the winter months and that's a perfect time to go. This year, admission is free on November 3 & 10 and December 1.

3.) Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary


Bring your binoculars and your family and head over to Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary is a 15 acre natural wonderland that’s home to beautiful songbirds. You will get to see these magnificent birds as you walk through trees, across dune lands and Montrose Park beach. If it's a warmer Fall day, it's a perfect spot for a family picnic lunch. You can bring your own lunch or of course, enjoy some fresh made Jumbo Slices of pizza for your picnic!

4.) Oak Park Green Pumpkin Trail


Oak Park Green Pumpkin Trail has a "Green Halloween" trek thru town that will takes kids to local business and organizations with all sorts of fun, kid-friendly activities. Parents, you may love knowing that there are a few healthy trick-or-treat snacks along the way. Costumes are optional so you can dress up and just bring the kids in their regular clothes. This is a great, free family event!
